My strength themes ended up being:
There's two that I find resonate quite strongly in my approach to wedding planning (and shopping):
People who are especially talented in the Input theme have a craving to know more. Often they like to collect and archive all kinds of information.
People who are especially talented in the Deliberative theme are best described by the serious care they take in making decisions or choices. They anticipate the obstacles.
my stack of wedding magazines & related stuff.
ok apples to apples and baking illustrated not so much wedding related.
So this pretty much goes with my having to research and evaluate all my options for everything before making a decision. Like the ring. And the venue. And the photographer. And the dresses. And on and on.
When I had just started, I stuffed my eyeballs full of wedding inspiration from sites like weddingbee.com, Vintage Glam Weddings (now ruffledblog.com), greenweddingshoes.com, snippetandink.blogspot.com, theperfectpalette.blogspot.com.
So now, I'm at the 4-5 month checkpoint for ordering invitations. I need ideas! And a motif! Or a theme! Weddings can pull off some pretty awesome themes, like vintage French or pink butterflies or whatnot. When else can you legitimately have a fancy party with a theme? Having something that pulls everything together...yeah that's the ticket.
Thought it would be nice to have something related to my Chinese heritage. So I need some books for ideas! Oh my. Ended up with 4 books from Amazon on Chinese symbols and art motifs.
Adding these to my visual library (art studio major here) wouldn't hurt right? I haven't even touch into my adventures of research into letterpress yet. Where are some good places to get some inspiration?
